Both side plates inscribed "GEORGE SMITH". 31 inch barrels with bores excellent, shiny and bright. Rifling sharp and deep. Receiver, lock, hammers, trigger guard and break lever feature fine English scroll engraving. Very fine condition. Barrels retain 90% of the Damascus pattern with a smooth gray patina. Very fine U.S. REMINGTON Model 1903 Modified, appears all original. Stamped "U.S. REMINGTON" and "MODEL 1903" on receiver ring, along with Serial # 3273754. Bottom of stock at grip is stamped "L", also stamped "P" inside a circle and stamped "AA". Bore is shiny and bright, with authentic leather sling. Wood shows some small dings of well cared for use. Overall in Very Good to Excellent condition. Few arms have served the U.S. military as long or as well as the famed "U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, Model 1903".  Known as the "Springfield", or simply the "03",  to several generations of American servicemen and arms enthusiasts, the M1903 has gained an enviable reputation as one of the best bolt-action military rifles of all time. 50 English made CALVERT Double Barrel Shotgun, .14 ga./bore with rifled barrels, circa mid to late 1800's. Serial # L1965 - Rare and unusual English made double barrel made by CALVERT in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. This very fine made double barrel is marked "CALVERT, COMMERCIAL ST., LEEDS" on top of barrel behind rear sight. The 28 inch barrels are rifled, and are stamped "14" on the underside of both barrels at the rear/chamber area that rests on the water table. Features a Jones underlever, with a blade front sight and four leaf express (fold-up) rear sights marked 100, 200 and 500 respectively. Barrel retains 90% of the Damascus pattern with a nice gray overall patina. Very fine English scroll engraving on the receiver, lock, hammers and underlever. Engraved on receiver is "JOHN MANTON & SON PATENT". Marked on top rib of barrels is "COVERTED BY J.A. SCOTCHER, BURT ST, EDMUND'S". 30-1/2 inch barrels which retain 95%+ of the Damascus pattern. This is a pin-fired hammer shotgun which may have had some conversion. Underside of each barrel beneath forearm is twice stamped "15" with proof marks. Mechanically excellent. 53 English made Percussion Muzzle Loading Shotgun, 12 ga. With appropriate London proof marks, circa early 1800's - Very fine English made percussion shotgun, with 32 inch barrel. Underside of barrel has the appropriate London proof marks, including two (2) "V" surmounted with a crown, and a "GP" surmounted with a crown. Underside of barrel also marked "12", presumably for 12 gauge, however muzzle gauges (measures) as 10 gauge. 54 H.H. SCHULTE Percussion Muzzle Loading Rifle, .36 Cal., Made in Pittsburgh, circa 1870 - Excellent example of an H.H. SCHULTE Percussion muzzle loading rifle in .36 Cal. Top of barrel marked "H H SCHULTE PITTSBURGH"., 35-1/2 inch barrel, overall 52 inches. Wood is excellent. H.H. Schulte was born in Germany in 1842 and came to America with his family in 1853. He learned the gunsmith trade in Pittsburgh. He served in the Army in 1864 and after the war returned to Pittsburgh and resumed his trade, working for William Craig, who he later bought out.
